In the following years, Terrence led Ngee Ann Primary School Choir to her first ever gold award in the 2004 Singapore Youth Festival Choral Competition. Subsequently, he clinched gold awards in another international choral competition, A Voyage of Songs 2005 with the TKSS choir and also emerged 2nd runner-up in the competition’s grand finals.

Following that achievement, Terrence led the Anderson Junior College choir and the NUS Choir to more gold awards at A Voyage of Songs 2007, Pattaya, Thailand. He also serves as the assistant conductor of his alumni choir, the Victoria Chorale that was crowned category champion of Sacra Acapella in the World Choir Games 2006 Xiamen, China.

Terrence clinched his first Gold with Honours award with the Anglican High School choir in the 2007 Singapore Youth Festival Choral Competition. As the choral director of AHS choir, he choreographed and directed the choir’s first musical to a rousing success. Following that, he led the choir to a high scoring Golden Medal in the Festival of Songs 2008 held in Olomouc, Czech Republic.

Terrence continues to inspire his students and peers alike with his passion for music in the capacity of assistant conductor and voice instructor of the NUS Choir, resident choral director of Anglican High School Choir and assistant conductor of the Victoria Chorale.
