No stranger to the Singapore choral scene, Angela is actively involved in the practice of choral music with the SYC Ensemble Singers under Choral Director Jennifer Tham and the Amadeus Choral Society, now conducted by Zechariah Goh.  Her love for choral music emerged in her early singing commitments with the Tampines Junior College Choir and the Amadeus Choral Society under the skilful baton of esteemed Singapore Music Director Nelson Kwei.  She also sang under the musical direction of Music Director Rebecca Chew during her days in the National University of Singapore Choir.

Over the years, Angela has been developing her portfolio as a Choral Director. Her achievements include establishing the East Coast Primary School Choir, which she has been conducting since 2001.  Under her baton, the Choir has participated in various functions and collaborative showcases with other school choirs. Under her choral direction, her school choirs have grown in musical depth and choral experiences through public and competitive performances.

She has also participated in many recognised Singapore and international choral platforms including THREE an Asian choral showcase (2006 and 2009) conducted by Jennifer Tham, Jonathon Velasco and Ko Matsushita in Singapore and Tokyo; 8th Taipei International Choral Festival 2008,  Orientale Concentus, Suzhou; 21st Century International Choral Festival 2008; 39th Tolosa Choral Contest 2007, Spain; 2004 International C. A. Seghizzi Choral Competition in Gorizia, Italy; and the Prague International Festival of Advent and Christmas Music 2002- Petr Eben’s prize, Czech Republic.

Angela is currently the Choral Director of various Singapore schools, including East Coast Primary School, North Spring Primary School, Endeavour Primary School, Marsiling Secondary School, Bedok Town Secondary and Compassvale Secondary School.
